  • Mark Hamill

    Mark has been organising workshops within Ireland from 2017 and currently has taught over 100 photography based events, he loves using flash and and aims at the creative quirky style to produce awesome stand out images, he loves Man Utd, Coffee, Apple products and his 50-150 f2 Sony glass. Mark’s approach is to learn hand on instead of theoretical based learning and will open up a world of excitment for attendees.

    Lauren is originally from Los Angeles but now applies her craft in the picturesque Donegal, Lauren is a returning favourite with a detailed output of her process of capturing stunning work, she is a Canon lover with a extensive background working with Greenday and White snake to name a few, she loves Sparkling Water and cursing a lot.

    Our second Mark has a wealth of expereince in wedding photography with shooting his first wedding at 14 years old Mark has grown over 20 years into one of Irelands most sought after togs, with nearly 1000 weddings under his belt Mark will be sharing his tips, skills and tricks, Mark unfortunately supports Liverpool FC but everyone has there flaws :)

  • £400 per photographer

    £200 booking fee to confirm your space and on the day a final payment of £200 “cash” if possible. Invoices available on request for your tax records.

  • Eglinton Airport is 20 minutes drive to Ballyness Estate (£20 taxi fare) or car hire in airport, flights return from:

    Hotels at reasonable rates are nearby, also Ballyness have modular cabins to book on the night which is on site and 50 metres from the venue.

  • Photographers, Videographers and Content creators, from start out to pros this covers a wide range learning and caters to all levels of creatives, you’ll need to understand your exposure triangle and camera settings prior to this workshop and have a active hot shoe to utilise this flash section.

  • What makes this workshop unique is your cover 3 sets of models in full attire with 3 different coaches so 6 models on the day and one amazing portfolio of images, each coach will give you an insight into there style and thought process, its like covering 3 workshops in 1 day!

  • Nope, we’ve got it covered with Godox lighting and all branded triggers to suit your camera model, if you have a X Pro trigger bring it along to avoid swapping it over.

  • Most definitely!, unlike some workshops you have complete use of your images and video for marketing and self branding and showing clients your editing style.

  • There isn’t any :) we’ve booked the entire resort both in Ballyness venue and the entirety of the grounds to give the best range open to your photos and experience.

  • Indeed, learning is tiresome so after the second session we will stop for some lunch “provided” and a refuel, any dietary requirements is asked upon booking, this is a great way to network with like minded togs.
